NetworkManager

I was having a play with PPTP support for NetworkManager tonight. I got hold of an Ubuntu package for it and dropped it in. At this point, NetworkManager gained an option to configure my VPNs, so I added one for UWA's VPN. So far, so good. Unfortunately, I could not find a single option from anywhere in the UI to then connect to this VPN. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong, but it's distressing, because we're so close to the shrink wrapped solution for making this desktop product really quite viable for people like University students.

Incidentally, this man is a hero of the project. Look at him being a hero. See how he talks heroically into the microphone.

Vincent Untz

He's either the hero of the project, or a future Bat villain (obviously someone will have to throw acid in his face, or throw him out a window, or something equally as far fetched to turn him criminally insane). Obviously, in this case he will need a suitable villain name, like... Le Frog (Bomb Voyage was already taken). He will also need a lycra jumpsuit. In fact, I'm looking forward to seeing him in the next Batman film.
