Update on Life
It's now 1am on the first of July in this timezone. Finally got all of my billing for work done before the end of the financial year (well really, it was 11 minutes into the next financial year, but I'm sure I can ignore that).
I'm currently at my parents house after spending the (now) usual Wednesday evening being right brained. It's a fair trek across the city to get home, and since Stephanie is away, it was much closer just to stop here for the night. I also got a free meal out of it. While discussing Armadale band, if you're going to be in Perth (Australia) on Saturday (and not down at Terracon) you might want to consider coming to this concert. It should be a whole lot of fun.
Have been spending a fair amount of time watching the GUADEC streams. Still a bit disappointed that I didn't get to go. Oh well, I'm going next year, to Stuttgart (Germany).
Stephanie will be home in about 23 hours. I can't wait to see her, although I'm still afraid she's spent all our money, and we'll be forced to eat my old shoes next week (which incidently, are much more comfortable then my new shoes. The things we do to look good).
(Incidently, Drivel has picked up this annoying habit of making Home/End go to the beginning/end of the paragraph. I suspect this has something to do with the move to using GtkSourceView. Update: I've now fixed this. GtkSourceView used something called smart home/end, I turned it off.)
The crazy idea of the day is to teach jhbuild to make and install debian packages. I'll just add it to the pile of crazy ideas I perhaps, maybe, one day will implement. If it's not flamed out of me beforehand.
